Double-sided mounting tape is not included. For non-LED wooden maps, choose suitable double-sided mounting tape or mounting adhesive according to your wall surface.
The instructions supplied with your map explain which option to choose for your situation and specify suitable mounting adhesives and double-sided tapes for a secure hold. Follow these instructions when selecting and applying your mounting product.
LED maps require a different mounting method. Use stand-off mounts (spacers) or mounting adhesive suitable for the map’s weight and your wall, following the LED installation instructions. Do not use double-sided tape for LED maps: it is not suitable for their weight.
This depends on the wall surface and how the map was attached. Double-sided tape or mounting adhesive may leave marks or damage the wall finish. We therefore cannot guarantee that every map can be removed without damage to the map or the wall.
For LED maps, the removal method depends on whether stand-off mounts or mounting adhesive were used. A map attached with stand-off mounts is removed differently from a glued map.
